Walker Wedding
Back in the Spring, I had the privilege of doing pictures for a wedding that was for someone very dear to our family! I was in a bit of a family crisis at the time with the passing of my dad just a few days after the wedding so it definitely didn't get the coverage it deserved back in the spring. So... I decided it was time!
Blake was literally the "boy next door" when we lived in Lubbock. He lived across the street from us and was the BEST to our boys for years on end. We watched Blake grow up into the man he is today and I literally cried when he asked me to photograph his wedding. In fact, it is pretty cool to say I went from watching him plunge into the slip slide in the front yard to the plunge of a lifetime! I did not know Katelee until the wedding but Blake's bride is every bit as sweet as I could have dreamed for him! She was just a doll and a dream bride to deal with. If all weddings could be as easy as this one, I would probably do a lot more of them! It was such an incredible honor being part their big day!
